Packing List for Treatment
Once you have your admission date, the next step is simple: pack a small bag and let us handle the rest. Bring comfortable clothing, your ID and insurance cards, and any prescriptions in their original bottles. Leave valuables, alcohol, and outside medications at home. We will walk you through everything on arrival day.
Packing List for Treatment, The Details
Once your admission is confirmed, the next step is simple: pack one bag with the things that make the first few days easier. You do not need much, and we would rather you arrive with too little than spend the night before stressed about a checklist. Here is what tends to help most.
- Comfortable, casual clothing for about a week, plus a light jacket or sweater
- A photo ID and your insurance card
- Any current prescriptions in their original, labeled bottles
- Slip-on shoes or sneakers and something to sleep in
- A short list of phone numbers for the people you want to stay in touch with
Please leave a few things at home. This keeps arrival day smooth and protects everyone's privacy and safety.
- Alcohol, non-prescribed medication, and anything containing it (mouthwash, some cold remedies)
- Weapons or sharp objects
- Large amounts of cash or valuables
If you are unsure about a specific item, call us before you pack it. We would rather answer the question now than have you worrying about it in the car.
