Art Therapy
Sessions start with a blank page, a lump of clay, or a set of paints, and you work at your own pace. We use art therapy as a core part of treatment plans, giving you a way to express what words sometimes cannot. Our team stays with you through it.
How Art Therapy Works in Treatment
You'll sit down with a licensed clinician and a table of materials: paint, clay, pastels, whatever fits the moment. There's no skill required and nothing to get right. In a session, we might ask you to sketch how a craving feels, or shape something that stands in for an emotion you can't quite name yet.
Art gives feelings a form when words fall short, which helps with anxiety, trauma, and the tangle that often comes with addiction. We fold this work into your larger plan and adjust it as you grow stronger.
